Dining Services

Overseen by a culinary trained dietary supervisor, the talented kitchen staff at Pinewood Terrace prepares three home-style meals each day that are nutritious and in accordance with dietary guidelines.

In the spring, summer and fall, herbs and vegetables are grown in Pinewood Terrace's raised garden beds that residents and staff help tend and plant. These are used in the kitchen along with other carefully selected fruits and vegetables to provide a seasonal and fresh menu.

Pinewood Terrace also features an apple orchard where residents and staff harvest apples and prepare fresh pies each fall.

In addition to the main menu that is offered each day, residents are always offered an alternative and are encouraged to offer menu suggestions or recipes of their own. Healthy snacks are also available throughout the day. Pinewood Terrace can accommodate low sodium, diabetic, pureed or ground diets.

Special Resident and Family dinners are planned through the year and for most large holidays, however, family members are always welcomed to join meal times anytime during the week.
